Default IACV Question?

My idle falls pretty low and nearly stalls when my A/C is on. I read that the most likely cause is a dirty IACV. So, I unbolted it from the intake (but did not unhook coolant lines on bottom) and sprayed carb clearner into the screen. Now the idle problem is worse and my car stalls while idling and when the A/C is on.

Is it neccessary to completely remove the IACV?

or could my problem be something different?

you should probably go through the steps to correctly reset the Idle. I was having similar trouble and it was my idle speed.

Do you have more info on resetting the idle? or do you mean adjusting the idle screw?
