Default B18A1 engine?

would this engine be worth anything if it runs? we got in an older integra and it's got this in it. Think I'll see if it runs tomorrow then don't know.

how much different from later model B18's is it aside from say electronics?

If I knew it could be made like the later model B18's I might just toss it in my 98 but if it couldn't be updated to OBDII then I wont worry about it.

I think the main difference between the two is that A1 is ObdI and B is OBDII. not worth it. get an OBDII engine.

the 92-93 B18A1s have like 2-4 less hp than the 94-01 motors....no real differencein the motor itself..i had a 93 B18A1 in my 94 hatch and paired it with a hydrolic GSR tranny and it was great. the motor only had 70k original miles on it as well.

90-91 integra b18a1 motors are obd0 and 92-93 integra b18a1 motors are obd1 but they still haev a cable tranny. get a 92-93 b18a1 and mate it with a b series hydro tranny and you will be set.

there's no reason why it shouldn't work. if you compare the 92-93 B18A1s to the 94-95 B18B1s the only difference is that the 92-93s have a cable tranny.....cosmetically the only difference is the "A1" in the block #
