Default Help needed with axles for B16A2 swap...

Hi,

I'm building a B16A2 engine from a 6th gen Civic in my EDM CRX 2nd gen wich had a D16Z5 engine. Almost the same engine as your ZC...

I took a Y2 gearbox and the axles of a CRX VTEC.
Now I have one big problem.... The axles are too long!
Due to a difference in the length of the middle axle I don't have any clearance in the axle....

My question: Wich axles are a little bit shorter? 1 centimeter will do I guess...
I heard something about the old Integra ? That should have shorter axles?
Can anybody comfirm it?

Other solutions are also welcome!

I think I'm not the first one that puts a B16A2 engine in a ed9-CRX?
How have others solved this problem?

Thanks!

Default Re: Help needed with axles for B16A2 swap... (Hybrid Hatchback)

The only Integra we had in Holland was the 5 doors from 1986 to 1989 .
The Integra after that was the Type R in 1996...

So the 1992/93 model we don't have

The old Integra has other axle's I guess?
