Default Engine building: help with bearing codes

How can i tell what bearing i need for my motor (rod & main)? On the side of the block it says CCBCC. I'll have the letters and numbers off of the crank tomorrow.
Anyone have a chart or something so i can tell what colors to get?

You will need a Helms manual for that, or you can post your numbers and letters here and someone with the manual can tell you what you need. If you will assemble the block yourself you should still get the Helms manual anyway.

just took my numbers and letter codes and took it to my local honda dealership and they had a list and ordered them for me that is what i would do i would trust a honda dealership's list over a helms list but that is my opinion

Here's the codes. pulley ---> flywheel
letters: CCBC
numbers: 32322

block:
ccbcc

I think the letters on the block go with the numbers on the crank for the main bearings right?
and the letters on the crank are for the rods bearings?

If this is correct:

Pulley -> Flywheel
C3 C2 B3 C2 C2

Then:

C3= Brown
C2= Green
B3= Green

you need the numbers off the rods before we can determine that.

Ok, then your bearings will be
Pulley - Flywhee
C3 C3 B3 C3

C3= Brown
B3 = Green

What I have quoted is for B series engines. If this is D, I have no reference in front of me

Your Honda dealership probably used a Helms manual to check the codes for you.
