KYB AGX...how the heck ????
ok...i just received my shipment of KYB AGX's for my 93 civic hatch...and i was looking at them and it seems like its hard to put on....its about 3 in the morning, thats why im not out trying them on...does anyone have AGX's ??? can you post pictures and guide me through the installing process, PLEASE !!!!...ANY help would be appreciated. THANKS !
first try searching if that doesnt work it is in the haynes if that doesn't work here goes
1 put car in the air
2 take off tire
3 remove lca to spindle castle nut 17mm
4 remove damper fork to lca bolt 17mm
5 remove damper fork to damper pinching bolt 14mm
6 swivel both sides of fork until it slides down
7 pop ball joint under spindel off may need pickel fork
8 remove sway bar nut(it doesnt have to come out of the car just disconnect
9 remove anything else holding you up(traction bars etc
10 move the damper fork out of the car
11 remove three nuts in engine bay on the shock tower 14mm
12 remove damper
13 get spring compressor 15 bucks at pep boy etc
14 compress spring remove top nut
15 follow kybs instructions on the perches etc
16 follow these directions in reverse
Did you get springs?
ive never worked with rear drums i can only asume that its the same
1 put car in the air

if you have no idea waht youre doing have a friend that does help you or pay someone...dont wanna **** up anything that has to do with suspension

none of those steps are needed. JUst unbolt the fork from the damper and the LCA and the brake line brackets and the upper top mount bolts

werd. just get a helms manual. it has step-by-step illustrated instructions. it doesnt get any easier. if you dont have the $$, get a haynes at any autoparts store. they're pleanty descriptive and they have pictooors to look at.

trust me, its really not as hard as it looks... i did my suspension lastnight. Tein/AGX on my 92 Hatch.

That feel GREAT! I love them... i am 100% happy with the combo. I took my roomate out for a spin in them after i installed, he was really impressed. He is a Tokico driver w/ nuespeed springs (sp?)
