AC compressor help. 92-93 civic / 94+ civic R12/ R134a compressor interchangable?

AC compressor help. 92-93 civic / 94+ civic R12/ R134a compressor interchangable?

I need help.
My Civic Compressor stop working.
It is a 92-93 system with the R12 stuff in it.
I need to know if the newer 94+ Civic Compressor will work on the system.

Remember I need it to plug into my R12 lines. Some items like the AC drier are not interchangable because the lines do not fit.
