Default 1997 civic lx ac question help (in tx 102 degrees)

here is the run down compressor went out a few months ago

well last week i replaced the compressor and dryer it is only cooling around 80 degrees and compressor kicks on and off every couple seconds

i was told putting too much oil in the compressor and dryer can not make it cool enough

what are other ideas

can you tell us the exact procedure you took in replacing/recharging your a/c system? then we might be able to figure out if you don't something wrong, or not

1did vaccum on ac system on car before pulling off compressor
2swapped compressor
3 swapped dryer ( between both used a small can of the ac oil)
4vaccumed the ac system again
5 charged
6 blowing cool not cold

You don't need to vacuum prior to removing the compressor.. but too late now, so use it for future reference.

Was it pulling -29inches of mercury vacuum?
