You need the manual passenger side transmission mount bracket, the one thats welded to the frame. Its different from the auto. You will also need the slave cylinder, which should be bolted to the tranny you get.

Does that manual passenger side transmission mount need to be welded, or can it bolt on?

Needs to be welded on...the old auto mount needs to have all of the spot welds drilled out, than it should come off..may need a chisel/flathead screwdriver to help. The new one needs to be welded on in the same position as the auto bracket though. And its just the bracket that needs to be welded, the mount bolts to the tranny.

Thanks, I have an EK, and I'm about to do the auto to manual myself and I needed to know if it requires welding. If it doesn't, this has just made my life easier!

Nah man, EKs require no welding. Consider yourself lucky beeeyotch! (Jk) I'm splittin my head here trying to find somewhere I can rent a welder from. Good Luck with the swap!

There is no welding on the EK and there is no welding on the EG if you get the auto to manual mount.

JDMShit! sells the mount for a great price!

We have done a total of 4 auto to manual swaps this year and both EG (one EG hatch and a delsol) swaps have left our shop with that mount.

The other 2 were an EK coupe and a 94-97 Accord. Neither of them needed welding, just the manual mount and it bolted in perfectly.

no one mentioned the hydraulic lines for the clutch... or will the fluid just transfer from master to slave through thin air? :D

Ok, one more thing...

Will the IACV and clutch hydraulic lines off a 95 Civic EX work on a 99 Civic EX?
