the vafc has a few other features and offers more tuning adjustment points throughout the rpm range. IMO its worth the extra money, get the vafc 2 only if hondata isn't feasible.

Yeah but if you have the chance get hondata it is much better with the right tuner.

Think of VAFCII as compared to BWM's idrive system. The the lil joggle thingier I've heard is quite annoting. VAFC seems easier to operate. You can also store multiple I think 2 different tuning settings in the VAFCII.

VAFC 2 is made for the new I-VTEC motors. So in other words dont waste your maney unless you want it for cosmetic reasons. Go Hondata.

Are you sure about that? I'm not calling you wrong but I could have sworn that they hadn't made a vafc for i-vtec yet. Then again I'm probably wrong, does anyone else know?

you guys should not be comparing a piggyback like a vafc that only controls air/fuel to a hondata which is about as close to a standalone as you can get. Hondata totally needs to be setup on a dyno... you can ghetto tune a vafc though....

If you really want a piggyback condsider the unichip... much more powerful then the vafc as you can control a/f and ignition....

My boy had jrsc on a 5th gen tuned with hondata
I would recomend calling RPM NYC and ask about Luke from Ct's silver supercharged lude---got some great results!!
Dude named chan was the one who tuned it

keep in mind that you will not be able to use ATTS with hondata or an AEM EMS. i would personally suggest looking into the greddy emanage, it's probably the best piggyback system out there. very tunable and it can do ignition timing as well.

I gained 5whp just by tuning my vafc2 on the dyno with wide ban o2. I would say it's worth getting it for simple tuning. If you have big $ to spend go with AEM or Hondata.

btw I'm new here.

The VAFC2 allows more tuning points and at smaller intervals VS the original. I still have mine for sale $220 shipped silver VAFC2. Spocko_1701a@yahoo.com
