Default Opinions on possible trunk install

I am thinking about doing this in the trunk of my WRX and was wondering what you think?

Right now i have a huge ported box for my JL 12w6v2 and there is literly about 3 inches in front of the box.
Anyways...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I think that looks hot...can't tell in the picture, but I'd make sure that you can put maybe a mesh grill over the subs in the car, so you can't see em from the windshield...

i think a cool idea would be to get a piece of plexiglass, fit it in that hole, and put some tint one one side [the crappy stuff from pep boys] and put some red neons inside...that would pretty clean...it'd be all black and dark, and turn em on and you can see them

Just make sure that you have a fan on your amps if you are going to mount them inside also like your subs.

honda coupes - to my knowledge - don't have folding armrests... I'm doing to be doing something similar in my M3 - just without the plexi just wait for pics....

So much for him mentioning it was going into a WRX.

probably a better idea if he went to a WRX board....

I think it could work - just depends on what that trunk looks like

make two - i need something for my trunk, no one makes a decent enclosure for the wrx, and no on can do fiberglass work here that is any kind of reasonable.

I don't think the WRX has a opening armrest. At least my friend's '02 doesn't. Maybe the new ones do.

'04 WRX does have armrest opening. I am pretty sure i am going to do this but i will wrap it in vinyl instead of carpet.
