Default Code 14 woes...again...and again

On the way to work this morning after I got on it, motor was warm, the CEL came on. Grrr! It's code 14 which is the IACV.

I tried swapping out another used IACV from a integra gsr. They fit just fine, as long as you swap the coolant line fittings. Plug plugs in just fine, so it is plugged up. Both are used.

I haven't had a cold idle for a long time, and usually a reset to the ecu always worked, but it's still coming back. Wires seem to be intact too. Gaw I hate seeing that light on the cluster, and it will annoy me to death until I fix this.

Any ideas? And no, unplugging the CEL isn't one of them.

what other cars use this iacv?

Well after some dinner I'm going to go head back out there and see what's up w/this thing. I'll clean both warm and cold valve things and if that don't help, bah, time to ask my Acura shop foreman friend.

Ok, wow I guess this is just a log of myself...whatever.

Here's what I have figgured out.

After putting on the gsr IACV after it was cleaned etc. Everything hooked back up, I turn her over, and that nice bright <FONT COLOR="yellow">C.E.L.</FONT> on again. Code 14

yay, a few hours wasted.

So in for the night I go, but what the junk!? GREAT, I notice a large pool of <FONT COLOR="green">antifreeze</FONT>.

It seems that the heater inlet hose (whatever that hose is, it's bigger than 1/2") has a leak in it, possibly caused by heat/vibration of the rear motor mount. So I guess time for a trip to Honduh, or Acura, or Autozone for a prebent hose.
I'll let this explain it:

DERNIT! Well screw that diagram b/c I thikn I just left a coolant line to the TB undone. I replaced it anyways, bled coolant etc.

Still code 14. Time to break down and buy a multimeter and follow the diagnostic flow chart.
