Odd idle, vibrations, CEL code 73
Hey guys and gals,
I have a serious problem, I think. I was driving through an intersection and shifted at about 4500, let out the clutch and got back on the gas. The engine continued to rev, which I thought was the tires spinning since it was a little wet out. When it caught, the car thunked like I had just stalled, but continued to drive. I stopped at the next light, and the car was vibrating, and the idle was bouncing between 600-900. Moments later, the CEL came on, and when I checked it, it threw a code 73 (random misfire). But the light is staying on, the idle is still quite bad, and there's is a slight squeaking sound every so often. The car is an RS, with a manual tranny. Any ideas?!? This is my daily driver, and I'm messed up without it!
Any and all help is appreciated!
Thanks, Scott

I had the same code in my EK, check your plug wires, plugs, dist cap and rotor. I replaced my plugs cause they were pretty messed up, reset the ecu and the code went away...
Wow, as it turns out, I'm an idiot...
Despite the fact that the first thing I did upon arriving at home was pop the hood to check for obvious problems, then check the CEL code, I still managed to miss the wildly flailing spark plug wire going to cylinder 3. Plugged her back in, fired her up, all is well.
to acurasquirrel on Team-integra.net for the help.
