Default Car used to burn oil, now it doesn't?

To start off i bought my car 2 years old, and since day 1 i've used mobil 1...used to burn a little then at a certain point it was burning 1 quart every oil change.

Now, with double the milage it's not burning anything....i mean nothing, i just changed my oil and exactly what i put came out?.....pretty weird....i've been running my car a little harder than normal too....

has this happen to anyone else?

Did you stick with the same oil the whole time? I heard Mobil 1 burns a lot more than a lot of other companies oils.

Maybe when you picked up the car, the rings were stuck and with the use of mobil 1 they were freed up by its detergent package. Synthetics do have good cleaning properties so that could be the reason.
