96 Ex o2 Question...HELP PLEASE!!!
I have looked over the forums and haven't found my answer, so hopefully you might be able to help.
I have a 96 HX and swapped in a 95 EX motor. I am running the HX harness and computer on the HX and it runs like crap because of the fuel map. To run the EX ecu i have to have (2) 4-wire o2's hooked up and on the HX harness there is (1) 4-wire and (1) 5-wire o2 connector. I bought a 97 Ex harness to stop the headaches, so hook it up and didn't find the other damn o2 hook up. I NEED HELP PLEASE. ANY WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU,IN ADVANCE.
If it was an OBD1 harness i bought, it would NOT have hooked up to any of the injectors because i used the newer OBD2 ones. This is a problem that i can't seem to find the ansewr for and i'm a pretty good technician. I just want to BLOW it up!
The secondary O2 sensor does not plug into the engine harness, it plugs into the interior harness which is accessed through the floor above the catalytic converter.
it does? if i have and HX interior harness is it not going to work? or will it? do you know what kind of connector it is? 4-wire? How do I modify to ECU? Thanks for the help

The plug will prob not be there. Honda tends to have different wire harnesses for every model. Sorry, can't help you any more than that......
