i dont have one for a gsr, but i got one for my G2 LS and i love it, i got a heatshield too and i love it, a good thing about the injen intakes is, u can buy a SRI first... then if you wanna make it a CAI, you buy there CAI kit that extends it down, im goin to do that next....

for injen intake systems

an intake is an intake guys, regardless of what you all believe. I've got an AEM cai, it works no better than any $39 generic intake w/ a K&N filter off ebay does (maybe 1 hp...)
Companies like Injen and AEM do all the R&D, ebay retailers make knockoffs. Quality isn't really a huge concern. Seriously man, it's 1 pipe that air goes through..

IMO, save your $ for bigger things. Search the board for "ebay intake" and 100 people will back up what I just said

yeah bro, that might be the case, but look at it this way, when you buy a NAME BRAND intake, you get the C.A.R.B sticker that will save your *** if the cops in ur area/laws are hard..

better to be safe then sorry, sometimes u need to pay a lil bit more money for some things, cant be cheap all your life...

he is right...same pipe ....but dont buy it from ebay..for GSR...cause i i got intake from ebay...i installed...but pipe touched AC line..and rub everytime..so later AC will have some problem..so i use just sttock pipe just airfilter...iam getting Injen SI intake...
.for LS or GS or other model..ebay intake is fine...just for GSR model....

I think people get the Ingen/AEM intakes so they can say "Yeah, I got an INGEN intake. Bitch." And people will be like "OhhHhh Balla!!" Yeah. That's what I think.

edit: But there is nothing wrong with that. I'm gonna get an Ingen!

i got a tsudo CIA and it sounded awesome but i had problems with the filter falling off and it got real annoying so i cut the cold air and made a short ram and ran faster at the strip by almost a tenth. i could defintley feel more torque with the short ram. second gear rubber at the track.....i say get a short ram and build a heat sheild for it...just my 2 cents.

I like my ebay cai as much as i liked my AEM.

Couldn't really tell a difference on the BUTT dyno.

Get what ever you can afford.
