as far as the tranny goes you didnt give us enough info is it auto or manual ... did you look to see where the smoke was coming from ? maybe was it the tires smoking ?

sad to say its an 4sp auto w/ that stupid torque converter, and when i say slipped i mean missed gear completely...looks to me as if its going, so the sooner the better and ill swap a 5sp in... the smoke came only from top right side of hood, in no way was it the tires, i didnt pop the hood to look cuz it disapated by the time i was moving through the toll, the kid whom i payed still managed to compliment my car though

he wants to know whats wrong with his car, because when he hit m4d tIzzIght 3rd g34r Vt4Ck, his car started smoking and his transmission felt funny.

I could give him a few things to check for, as this is a common symptom when the d__f_____l ____s go out, but I'd be helping an idiot get back onto the road, and why would I want to do that?
