I've been lurking around your fine forum here for a while and just recently picked up a 97 civic LX. I'm working on throwing a few parts at it as I can afford but I'm not trying to make it a fast car or anything (because I can't afford that). Anyway my question of the day for you folks is: Will an integra rear swaybar bolt directly onto my LX? (I searched and didn't find anything)
the other part of the question is what else will I need to do the job _if_ it does bolt on? the reason I ask is that I dislike body roll and a local junkyard here has 3 of these bars for $50cad each.

any input would be awesome!

 

I don't think the LX has the control arms that allow them to bolt up. Look under you can at the control arm for the holes. You might just want to upgrade your control arms

 

yep, just get the GSR lower control arms, hardware on and the'll work fine.

I'll check my car as soon as the weather stops being retarded
but I suspect I'll have to do what 88hondahatch suggests and get the control arms that have the mounts/bits for the swaybar. damnit. prices always go up when I think I've got a smart idea for a cheap mod
