Default In hurry..need answer fast..problem w/ starter & wiring...

Got a problem....the wiring to the passive restraints have caused a short and now my starter's burned out. Anyone ever run into this problem?? I pulled the fuse (when I first got the car) for the driver's side since there's no belt there and last night the car wouldn't start. Tried jumping, pushstarting, etc. nothing worked. So the first AAA guy checked the starter, lightly hammered at it to see if was frozen up....it wasn't. Anyway, the last tow truck guy looked at the wiring and said it was getting burned out.

When I turn the key w/ clutch depressed....I hear an electrical buzzing noise coming out near the distributor or the spark plug wires, but there's no way I can get it pin-pointed due to heavy ambient road noise.

PLEASE if you KNOW what could be the problem call me on my cell phone, number's 310-940-4657 I need to get this fixed FAST. TIA for any help. And yes, I know, I could've searched but I doubt anyone's been through this and last time I looked at the passive restraints in past subjects (recent and archived) none of the topics included my situation. TIA and sorry mods!

If pushstarting doesn't work and neither does using emergency type battery packs what could be wrong? I still haven't found out what's wrong w/ my car

Update:

We (my dad and I) tried jumpering the starter out of the car but it pushes the gears out and spins it...so my starter's fine. I cleaned the battery posts and once again tried using the jumper battery packs and it still doesn't work. We also tried checking the output voltage from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid and it gets good voltage. Last thing we noticed was that the headlights are now DIM and the rest of my interior lights are dim. WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON!?!?!??!?!

Update #2: Replaced battery with correct group size.

Still not a damned thing. Could it be a bad distributor?

I never removed any fuse. I only double-checked all my fuses. Could there be a relay that went bad??
