IS there a way to put the 99-00 si harness with b16a2 motor into 96-98 civic and make the dash plug
I would like to install my b16a2 canadien 2000 into a 96 dx civic, i want to kept the b16a2 harness so i want to know if i will be able to match the dash plug into the ecu or is it impossible??

just use dx harness and modify or use ex harness.
If anyone knows a way to modify the si to work though let me know!!! I need to get a harness that works for smog

i just made a similar post and most ppl said that it wasn't worth the major mods you would have to make.

For all of you guys that keep asking this question there is a way to do it. Get a helm manual for 96-00 civic and a couple of paper clips.
Repin most of the 49 wires and change C plug to a D plug. Make sure to repin some of the cabin pins(the green harness)
once you do that have a nice day.
