Compression 150 with mini me

Default Compression 150 with mini me

im burnign a bumch of oil too, could this be because of oil rings, valve seals or what

take off your valve cover and run a leakdown test. you can do it with it on but to find out what exactly is going on take off the valve cover. and see where there is air leaking. if its leakings and not coming from the valves, then its a bad piston ring or you can quickly tell buy starting ur engine then take off the oil cap slightly and look for blowby in the head or through the breather

Is it 150 in all 4 cyls? If so I'd say thats reasonably normal. My ZC pulled 155 across and runs strong as can be. Some comp gauges can be off. Either way, take off your breather hose from the valve cover to the intake tube and start the car. If you have excssive smoke coming out of this tube then its your rings.

ok i tried that, i dont see any smoke whatsoever comeing from my breather or oil cap, now what

Do a leakdown test...

i got 215 across the board with my B7/Z6 mini me

If you're burning oil...then either your rings or valveseals are bad like you said...
