Default prelude door panels.....is there a manual conversion....

Yeah so I know prelude doors are so heavy, they have everyhting in there. Is there a prelude that came with manual, windows, instead of power, and how much weight will that drop. I have a 93 VTEC

is this car a daily driver?
if your that worried about weight just put in lexan and forget about the manual conversion. you'll save even more weight with that bc you wont have the track or the scissor bracket thing

I don't think switching to some kind of manual door locks & windows setup would save much weight at all . . . . Maybe 2 pounds per door? The components are really small & lightweight - the vast majority of the weight in the doors lie in the impact beams, frame, exterior steel, and glass. So probably not cost-effective on a street-driven vehicle, except as a last-resort to try and lose weight while keeping function.

For a full drag or track setup, a complete fiberglass or cf replacement would be something to consider - although at that point it'd probably just be something cosmestic to cover up the roll cage or tube frame along the side.
