Default Water Intercooler with a Thermoelectric cooler via 12vdc?

I did a search and its beening manfactured in OZ, I'm thinking of getting one of those car coolers and making my own water cooler. Anyone done this? I dont think I would even need a heat exchange would I? I quess it depends on how fast these coolers cool.

I was actually thinking about that yesterday. Same concept as a peltier element that's commonly used by overclockers in their computers. One side gets cold while the other gets hotter than ****. You just have to get rid of the heat of the hot side somehow. Have any pics of this thermoelectric cooler?

Default Re: (IslandSi)

do an ebay search for 12v coolers.

I was thinking about putting my water resivour in my trunk, well If I put it in a 12v cooler when I go to the track I could cool my water. I wouldnt run it in daily use.
