Well the main problemo is that my first gen B16 didn't come with its back stock bracket.And with the motor mounting kit that i bought lines up the front two fine but, when its time to mount the back there's no room(let me rephrase this the mount in the back from the kit is on) but when it comes time to put the bracket nothing works.We tried to use my stock HF D-series one Ehh dont work.Then we try using one from my friends integra Ehh dont work i dont get it.Its a B-series bracket why cant it work with mine then? Do i eventually need to get the stock B16 bracket or what? HELP PLEASE

 

The bracket from the integra will work. Which year was the integra bracket that you used ? Did you pound the rear cross member ?

 

you need a LS rear arm bracket..

im trying to find you a pic.. if i can't.. i'll go out to the garage and take one.. lol

edit.. its 44 bucks at honda or acura i ment..

 

94 integra bracket with cheapo AVID racing mounts, was this the only problem you've encountered with the mounting of the rear of the motor?If u can tell me how you went about the modification of the rear that would be helpful or pics. thanks

i used the EF mount.. which is the same as the 90-93 integra.. dunno about your 94 there..

but i used place racing mounts, and im sure its pretty close to the same as yours.. shouldn't be a problem.

 

Ok well my car is cable and the bracket we tried to us was from a 94 Ls hydro car, does that make a diff or do i need a earlier year bracket 90-93?

 

that i don' know.. i know for a fact the 90-93 will work, since thats a body type series.. but not sure about the 94's and up..

 

So if i go ahead and get this bracket from a 90-93 LS what about the rear cross member, how much modification do i need to do still..? i hope the honda dealer in town has it in stock...

 

none.. my aftermarket mount.. (same situation as yours) worked fine. just bolted right up. if you call acura, ask them if the 94 and 93 are the same.. i can't see them being that far off.. but.. then, if i can only recall 90-93 working, they must be different? dunno. but, no other modifications with a mount kit.. its a direct bolt in swap.. search archives.. its been covered plenty of times.

You need the one from a 90-93, the 94 will not work.
