damper fork bolt removal
thanks, tried a 10# hammer, didnt budge, put an impact wrench on it and nothing, going to try some heat tomorrow, its not threaded on the front side is it?
The bolt is rusted in to the bushing, because some MONKEY didn't put a little grease on it the last time it was removed. If you are going for an axle replacement, you can remove the inner joint..on newer acocrds the inner joint will pass thru the 'wishbone'. The problem with soaking this bolt in penatrating fluid is the rubber bushing may be damaged by the fluid.

I gotta get the crystal ball fixed.......

thanks for the thoughts, i have it saturated with pb blaster and and turning it with an impact wrench while hitting it hard with a 10 lb sledge, and nothing happens. is it threaded into the fork to make it "self locking"?
