Default anyone running bigger then a t3/t4?

I'm just curious and would like to hear some feedback on what size turbo you have and what motor mods you have done. Goals, hp, etc?
I'm trying to size the right turbo for my new motor and think I've decided on a 60-1 trim t04e, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
My motor setup is as follows:
godzilla sleeved b18c, je 9:1 pistons, crower rods, arp head studs and rod bolts, b16a head with itr outters and portflow inners. I plan to run a hp racing intake manifold with a south florida performance turbo manifold.

So can anyone post up what they have and how they like it?

60-1 is a T04B compressor, not a T04E.

There is a T04E .60 A/R Compressor Housing w/ 60 Trim Compressor Wheel!

I'm running a Garrett T-4. But I have no idea what trim size. My mods are: Golden Eagle sleeves, JE 9:1 pistons, Pauter rods, p and p head, tb, and intake manifold, custom turbo manifold, 2.5 inch exhaust.

If you are referring to the Turbonetics 60-1 Turbo, your choice would be good for race only. Not for the street. You also might consider using a Stage V T3 matched to the 60-1 for a quicker spool up. Your set-up should be good for 475-500 whp if all else is right.
Although the hp manifold looks great, IMHO I feel the design of the new JG Edelbrock with a round plenum chamber will give you more usable hp AND torque than hp square chamber manifold.

a t04e can be machined to fit a 60-1.that is what mine is.

Ive heard straight t4 cars have trouble braking sometimes...the brake pedal just feel likes a rock.

are you sure? Because I can't figure out how a turbo system would have anything to do with the brakes unless it's "T'd"off to the vaccumline going to the master cylinder or their brakes aren't good enough for their setup anymore.

60-1 uses the T04b compressor retaining clamps but other than that the 60-1 has nothing in common with the T04b. The backplates are different, the blades are different, and T04b's are smaller than T04E's.

This makes no sense. You sure this isn't yet another exhibition of the absolute weakness of "hearsay"? Or are you perhaps refering to on-boost brake operation? In either case, the size of the turbo will make no difference at all.
