Exhaust cam not turning...
My friend's 86 integra (it's got a b18a) won't start and he doesn't know enough to explain what happened (how it died). I pulled the valve cover because there was some clicking when I asked him to turn it over, the timing belt is there and both cam pullies are turning, but the exhaust cam isn't turning at all. Is this possibly how it's supposed to be? I was thinking maybe the belt jumped a/some teeth and bent one of the valves or is causing the cam not to turn. Any ideas / experience would be appreciated, thanks.
That cam should most definately be turning.
Did your freind recently install cam gears and forget to install the woodruf key back between the cam gear and the camshaft?
