Well, I thought I'd take my car for a spin today. I haven't driven it in weeks. I start her up, Warmed her up, then tried to put her in gear. (BTW I don't need to press the clutch in to start her.) I press the clutch, doesn't go very far. My shifter won't slide in any gear. I shut her off, go under the dash, and my clutch pedal assembly is loose on the firewall. Therefore the clutch won't engage. I see one long bolt going in the firewall. Is there 2 or more bolts that hold the bracket in place?
