Default fuel management options for 93 accord lx turbo

since those motors have very low compression anyways (8.8:1) can u get away with a simple fmu setup with inline pump boosting around 7-9 psi.

I would ask this in the F/I forum but i wanted to see if anyone here has first hand experience with this setup on their own accord. My friend really wants to turbo his accord but wants to do it on a budget.

I have heard/seen on here that since it is lower psi you can get by on a hack system versus running something like uberdata etc etc...but as far as 'tunability' goes you can only tune the system versus individual things with a fuel program.

One thing about running a hack system is that it is cheaper but with the least amount of tunability but is not bad for a budget/low psi set up.

Here are a couple threads with good info:

I am sure others will chime in as well.

yes you can get away with the FMU/inline pump but not higher than 7 psi safely, since the FMU increases fuel pressure 12 psi to 1 psi of boost, 12x7 = 84 psi + your base fuel pressure (guessing 40 psi) = 124 psi and that's to the edge of the safe limits of the inline fuel pump.

[shameless plug] I have an FMU & inline pump for sale if you need 'em! [/shameless plug]
