91> down civics need to convert to OBD1 for b16 swap?
im planning on getting a 90 crx si and want to do a b16a1 swap and i had everything figureed out then today while i was on norcalimports some guy said if you do a b16 swap in a 91 and below civic you have to convert to OBD1 for it to be street legal and get a bar sticker?
If you buy a first gen B16A with cable tranny most likely it will be OBD0. In that case it will not require converting to OBD1. In your case since you have a Si which is MPFI, it will require little wiring as long as you go the OBD0 route. There were the 92-93 JDM Integra XSi models that were OBD1 and still had a cable tranny though, just make sure to get the OBD0 style.
