i just got a credit card for $3100 i can get a b16 profesinal swap intallation for $3000 or i can save up $1700 and get a jdm gsr swap instead i can get the rest of my money in 2months is it worth waiting.
Credit Cards =
Cash =
Credit is only good if u can pay it off the next month.
Save Up and Read. You will have a much better knowlage about what you will want to do to your car.

Wait, i'm not exactly sure what the situation is. i'm guessing these three:
1) you can use 3000 of the 3100 credit to get a professional b16 swap.
2) save up 1700 in cash, in addition to 3000 credit for a jdm gsr swap.
3) learn how to write complete sentences, ones that end with periods!!!!@!!!
Either way, whichever choice puts 3k on your 3.1k credit card would not be the wisest thing to do, unless you CAN pay it off. If you can't, you're just going to be EATING finance charges left and right, just like most teens who don't know how to handle credit, myself included.
I say save your cash, at least 2k in hand before you get any swap. That way, there'll only be a 1k charge on your credit card, and if anything goes wrong or unexpected, you'll have some leftover credit to use.

Credit cards are the devil.
Do something with that card that you can show for.
Go buy a whole bunch of beer and pizza - get FATA
Who cares about a swap... it's still just a Honda.

Right here. Got in deep. my first card had a $4000.00 limit and it didn't take long to max it out. But it's taking forever to pay it off.
They are EVIL!!!! Save up the cash that way you don't have to pay for your swap for the next 5 years. Who knows, you might not even have the car then and you would still be paying for the swap. It sucks making payments on **** you don't even have anymore

Paying minimum payment on a $3100 CC @ 10% takes 14.25 years to pay off. If you miss one payment they will jack your rate to 18-25% then it will take 28-30 years to payoff.

For some they are bad news. I however love my credit card, it earns me free flyer miles, and it gets paid off every month. So, I get a free trip anywhere I want every year or two!! Ryan
PS, its all about how you manage your $$.

i got my first cc when I was 18, racked up $1500 on it almost instantly.. that was the limit.. got another one with 3k limit, maxed it out.. got another one with 5k, almost maxed it out..
I paid $7000 cash on all of them combined, and I still have debt.

ya, a credit card is probably the worst way to do it, if you have to have the engine now, go get a loan or something that has a lower interest rate, a credit card is only good for convienience,...
