How much would a complete swap (labor) be for a b16?
Want to swap a b16 into a 98 civic ex coupe, wanted to know how much money that would cost, not including price of engine. only labor. estimated, or average. thanks. also i want to have it done at a place, not done by myself, lol.

$500-600 is average i believe if you have all the parts needed. i guess it'll depend on who will swap it for you.

id say anywhere from 500 bucks to 1500 bucks.. it depends on where you go... some places will try to rip you off, some places will do a crappy job... id say save the money and do it yourself... a b16 swap isnt that hard even for a noobie mechanic

just read on here and you will learn a lot... i would wait to do a swap if you dont think you can do it yourself... i honestly wouldnt let anyone else touch my car id do everything myself or let one of my good friends do it... i wouldnt trust anyone else... you will be pissed by spending money to have someone do it and they **** up when you can just **** up yourself and learn a few things... or try to find some h-t guys on here that know what they are doing and they can help... some people will do it for beer and pizza

Just search everything you can on here...learn how to do it. get the motor and everything else...do it yourself.

Re: (Pioneer162)
hey i'm from cleveland and havea few friends that have swapped motors, some in nissans and some hondas, its not hard at all, if you want to make it as easy as possible keep the same wiring style aka OBD0, OBD1, OBD2 dont mix them, then you dont have to deal with the wiring harness as much

Re: (HATCHingMN)
What happens if you do it wrong and cause harm to the engine? Not flaming, just wondering how this works...
If its legit,
EDIT: Oh, and stop threadjacking

Re: (Hazem)
If there is something wrong with the engine that i put in the motor i take it back and demand a new one. Simple as that, and just tell the customer that its going to take a little longer because of the bad motor.
