Default piston to cylinder wall clearance pr3 pistons in b18a?

i have searched and it seems people say anywhere from .0004 to .0016. is this definitely correct? cause i have seen others say different. i know they are cast high silicone pistons so expand less but i need to know for sure. the .0004 to .0016 seems like a pretty wide range and what dimensions is this? secondly where should i run in this range? closer to .0004 or closer to .0016 essentially tighter or looser? thanks for any advice

.0004-.0016 is actually a pretty small range. with factory parts i say the tighter the clearance the better. you are only talking about a little over .001 of an inch so this is a very marginal amount and as long as u stick in between the to given values you will be fine. just make sure the rings measure out ok, which they usually do perfectly out of the box with oem parts when the piston to wall is within spec
