I have looked through the coolant problems etc above so i do have some ideas but none that really were like mine.

every time i drive around or make a road trip i will pop my hood and this heat just pours out at me. i touch the valve cover and it is alot warmer than usual (very hot to the touch). The motor itself sounds like it is running fine and the temp gauge inside the car reads like it is normal, but lately i have noticed it fluxing more hotter than normal then back to normal.
Lately now 2 the car sometimes feels like it is running almost chunky and boggy at times. And i have yet to hear the fan kick on.
I have not noticed any coolant under my car at work or home checking the dipstick no milkyness at all.

could this be my water pump going out or the thermostat broken or something.. it seems as if the thermostat is not popping open but i know if it didn't my car would over heat which it is not doing
any ideas please will be appreciatted
