Default Uberdata on a Non-FI engine?

Does anyone have uberdata installed on a non-vtec LS with basic mods? What were the gains, if any? Is it worth it?

I've searched - its very tough to weed out the actual FI info from the NA info...

yes im running uberdata N/A. no "chip" would be worth on a basically stock LS. even if you have all the bolt ons. once you change your cams and/or injectors then it would be worth it.

works pretty good.......if you have the proper tuning tools (wideband o2 sensor, dyno, lots of time) it will deffinatly be worth it.......kinda hard to street tune the car without all of those things.

it pretty much does exactly what hondata does but it's free.

Cyphear put uberdata on Garbonzon311's gsr. Took out a bit of fuel and timing and changed vtec. Not sure exact amounts. However, the butt dyno told them it felt faster. There is a thread on the uberdata forum about na apps. Its pretty old so look back a bit and you will find it.

if you get a good tune, it'd be the equivolent of getting a hondata tuned since they are the same thing bascially.

You are using an experimental type program. One that a bunch of smart people came together and built themselves. Be prepared to have weird problems come along. The program has gotten better ten-fold in the past few months, but your still experimenting with it. Don't think that you won't run into issues along the way.
Also, getting a good tune is a whole other issue. There are very few people who tune uberdata commercially. Therefore you are probably going to have to learn how to tune yourself. This requires a whole lot of research. Including what your doing, why your doing it and what effects it will have. This will give you the best results, and not blow up your car.

Don't get me wrong, Uberdata is an awesome program. I helped(and were still messing with it) tune cyphears turbo ls with it. And its not that difficult to use. In fact its pretty easy. However, it can be easy to mess something up too. Good luck and have fun.
