Sohc VTEC question!
I swapped a 95 Si head with the vtec solenoid on it into my little d15b2 motor...
i was wondering how i would get started in order to get the vtec working...i dont have the multi-port fuel injection intake manifold...but is that necessary for the vtec to function?...or is it possible to use my dual-point intake manifold?...i would really appreciate opinions and ideas...thanks!

While it IS possible to run the SOHC VTEC head with the stock DPFI, it's HIGHLY not recommended. Increased INT. Cam Duration of VTEC requires additional Air & Fuel which the DPFI set-up is far from efficient at providing
Save yourself the trouble and get some MPFI parts

Hmmm...well, i've thought about it...but then i decided to just run the motor until i swap a b series motor...i messed around with the stock motor too much already... im experiencing misfires and hard idling...so i think i'll just stick to what i have...but tell me the price anyways..i might reconsider...thanks!
unless you have serious head/block damage id be willing to bet that in the parts you swap out doing the mpfi you will fix your problems also! mpfi alone makes a huge difference.. another 20 hp or so on top of mpfi would be very nice.. especially since your not very far from it!
