Clutch Alignment Tool
Ok. I am trying to put the last bit of this pain in the *** engine together. I am down to the clutch and tranny. I have gone to Autozone, napa, and Advance Auto (all the local stores around here), and no one has one for the h22. I called Honda and they said that I would have to find what the tool part number is so they could order it.
What the hell? How do I put the clutch on with out the tool? IDEAS... HELP!

Hey Mike, It's Eric, you know the one that was over there helping you with the fiberglass, I think I've got a few clutch alignment tools lying around, I can swing by there and help you out whenever
Are you talking about the little plastic alignment tool that comes with a new clutch? If so, those things are a piece of crap. I used one when I did the clutch on my '68, and the input shaft still didn't line up. I've heard this from numerous people also. The best thing to use is an old input shaft to line everything up with.
I'm sure you've done this, but take your clutch assembly and slide it onto the input shaft of your tranny just to make sure everything will go together fine. Good luck. John
