Default 5th gen Sub install through firewall

I am hooking up an amp in my 5th gen '96 accord v6 and i was wondering how you get the positive battery cable from the battery through the firewall? can anyone describe where to punch the wire through the firewall into the car without drilling?

also, any tips on mounting the sub box in the trunk to keep it from moving around when you make sharp turns?

thanks

you can run the power wire through the rubber groumet below the master cylinder, above your pedals .. Or you can just drill a hole somewhere around there.. esspically if your using something larger than 8 gauges ..

I ran my power cable through the firewall on the pass. side. If you follow the fuse box harness to the firewall youll see a large oval gromett, it enters the cabin above the ecu.

i could'nt get my power cable to fit through the passenger side, so i had to run it on the drivers side next to the steering wheel =/

Sorry i forgot about moving the fusebox. yeah all you gotta do is remove a couple of bolts and move it to the side. If you follow the harness youll find a large oval shaped grommet. I cut a hole in mine w/ a blade and ran the cable through.

I drilled a hole for mine cause I have 2 gauge. But yes using an existing grommet will work.

You want to run your power wire on the driver side.. thats where most of electrical wires on the stock car is.. this will minimize noise distortion
