Default Amp hookup?

I'm in the process of hooking up my amp. I don't know where to run my power wire from the battery. I looked for anexisting hole from the engine bay but found nothing. Should i drill a hole or run it outside the car somehow? Help is appreciated.

what generation? i have a 5th gen and ran mine through a factory hole at the firewall. if you remove the under the hood fuse box (directly behind the battery) there is a boot covering a set of wires running through the firewall. pull part of the boot back and you can squeeze a hefty gauge wire through this hole. it comes out on passenger side not too far up and can be easily run through the console or under the carpet, depending on amp location.
