Default someone please help!? Idle issue on a d16a6......

Has any one ever had such a problem: The car fires up, Holds a high idle, Hop in go for a first second gear ride and immedietly when you push in clutch, the idle falls down and dies, No matter what I do, same thing. I advanced a tooth, came back a tooth or so on my cam sprocket, Increased idle, sometimes it will hold with increasing idle, but I'm not solving the problem, just conpinsating for a fucked problem, it never fails , it just wants to die. Checked my distributor, coil, wires, all vaccum hoses, sensor plugs all the way around, Hopefully someone has come across this, . I would very much so apprechiete any suggestions..

Thanks............10:19 pm, wed.

Try swapping out the Idle Air COntrol motor on the back of he manifold for one that you KNOW works... Or try unplugging it.. It'll throw a code, but if it fixes the problem, tah dah

17: Vehicle Speed Sensor. Does your speedometer work?
6: Engine Coolant Temp Sensor. Definitely could cause idle problems
7: Throttle Position Sensor: Another cause of bad idles.

Sounds like you have some plugs missing or shorted.

I thought 17 was a bad injector?
and 6 was a exuust manifold temp - EMT?
I swapped the whole intake manifold out and meraculously it worked although there is stilla slight idle issue, but the bitch runs, and im gonna get a scanner today. thank you for you r input.

Code 16 is Injectors. Code 17 is VSS.
