99 gsr jsut put in jdm 4-1 type r headers in what kind of test pipe do I use?????

99 gsr with jdm 4-1 headers and i got usdm type r b pipe and axle back

where can i get a test pipe that will work with this setup

i dont wanna drive around straight from header , can anyone help or had this same situation

 

try meineke or carx. a straight(test) pipe is just a peice of piping connecting your header collector and your exhaust. youll need a custom one installed at a muffler shop

 

just like he said, a strait pipe. Cost like 30 bucks around my way. You kinda of got get the shop hustled. Most of the time they can make it but won't install, unless you give dude a nice tip.

 

Forget the testpipe...go with a custom Carsound Cat.

Similar gains, less noise.

I'd spring for a Car Sound instead (although Dave can make you either one). Do the environment a favor, and avoid the possibility of a multi-thousand dollar fine.

No, a properly made 2.5" cat (or test pipe) will bolt up to the ITR B-pipe. It would, however, be beneficial to remove the very restrictive bottle neck at the ITR cat/B-pipe flange and replace it with a tapered 2.5" -&gt; 2.25" adapter.

Yes, a 2.5" test pipe will bolt to your exhaust, but will meet the severe bottle neck at the B-pipe flange. SMSP (the info I posted above) can construct a very high-quality one for you, but you can also most likly get a local muffler shop to fabricate one for you.
