I bet its cause they sent you the swap without the EGR solenoid (mounted on the car usually). You must have that wired up for it to work correctly and not throw and error code.

Ok ive drawn in red where all the egr stuff is on the prelude. The EGR control solenoids sit in a bracket together, 1 is green and white and the other black. Im pretty sure the purge control solenoid and the map sensor share a bracket on the firewall.

My EGR solenoids and charcal canister sit by the bottom of the battery btw.

Did you already wire it to a11 on the ecu? If you did i would just check the connection if the pin came loose.

Just use a P28 or P72 chipped and be done and over with.

When is the P28 suppose to activate VTEC??? I tried a P28 to get rid of that code as well but VTEC doesnt seem to activate or its just not as strong as the P13 which I can feel while driving. Does anyone know how to wire up the ECU to trick it and disable that EGR code? And I thought the EGR was right by the Throtle cable. I plugged mine because I used an AEM fuel rail during the swap.

to trick the p13 ecu from throwing an egr code you need to wire a few things in, and run some vacuum lines. first you need that green and white valve i think it is the cvcc valve, that one gets a vacuum line to the manifold, from there it runs a vacuum line to the egr control solenoid, which is also plugged into the ecu and power, and from it runs a vacuum tube to the egr lift sensor and valve....which also receives 3 wires....refer to a wiring diagram for specifics on wherre to put them. once you have made all those things happen your ecu should be well tricked into not throwing a code 12.
