It's traction control code. I'm runing with my lude about 2 years with that code, no big deal with that, unless you have that that kind of system on your car. I was swaped engine from JDM car which before have AT and TC system.

Strange, I can see that problem when only did conection at chek engine conector, there is that mistake but no chek light on dashboard. And there is another code 20 (electric load detector, 2.0 prelude don't fave it), which did not displayed on dashboard too.

You just finish the swap?

yeah dude, dont talk to kenny like that - hes a pimp. and he's totally right. you didnt hook up a traction control unit im guessing, so expect it to come back on soon. ive got the same problem, and i dont got money for a p28 so im taking out the bulb for salvage inspection. teh, hopefully they dont expect it to pop on when you first start it up

it was a stupid answer, any idiot would know that, but it wasn't the answer to my question, i implied making the CEL go away with the same ECU.. not the "correct" one

anyways it was even dumber when he said it would come back, when it wont.. because it doesn't come on, the code is there yes, but it solved my problem my CEL is no longer on

wait so you mean that jsut cause i have had several of those ecu's and never seen the check engine light up and ONLY show a code 36 im wrong? my experience an that of those i trust shows that the code 36 is a "silent" code. unfotunetaly i do not have a traction control ecu on hand any more having sold them off only to keep 2 usdm p13's and 1 jdm p13, otehrwsie id be mroe than happy to take video of me driving showing my opinion to be based on fact.
