Default alky injection

anybody tried using water/alcohol injection like the Grand National guys are using. these guys are boosting up to 25 - 27 psi on pump gas! i know my engine can't handle that kind of boost but would like to maybe hit 15 psi before i get detonation problems. btw i have a 93 dx 1.5 with a mitsubishi TD04HL home built system, presently running 9 psi with a 12:1 vortec fmu. want to go with larger injectors (maybe 310s) and changing to a vortec super fmu to lower the static fuel pressure so my rail pressure under boost stays below 90 psi even at 15 psi boost. ANY comments would be welcome, even if you think this is a stupid idea.

alcohol isnt all that hard to run but only experts should use it, the amount by which all timing variables change with alcohol are huge. alcohol can only be considerd for a track only car. what do you think of the name change - Newfoundland and Labrador - were the Labs threatening to separate, this ruins most of my newfie jokes if i want to stay politically correct.

whats up rtype11, newfie joke dont bother me, only if they're told by mainlanders. just kidding! you should check some of the buick grand national sites and see what they say about alcohol injection not as the primary fuel source but as a "liquid intercooler" btw Jackson Racing also sell Aquamist "liquid intercoolers" it does look promising

apparently water has a higher heat absorbtion capacity than alcohol, so I guess water would be better for cooling the cylinders, look at the ERL MF2 system, my first post to this was running alc as fuel, sorry didnt read through, but when you mix both the alcohol will act as a cool fuel, you will definately have some amssive timing issues.
