i got a 89 crx hf and it wont rev past 2500 rpm's so i check the codes and i get a code 4. the crank shaft position sensor. what should i do first to try to fix this?????

Check your wiring first and make sure everything is secure. Most likely however, you will probably need to change your distributor as the sensor is located in it and unless you have the tools and a spare sensor, you can't change it out.

 

^ great....... i really didnt want to change it out! i will check all the wiring and such and i hope it fixes it. thanks for the help!
