Long term experience with JRSC
Hi Guy`s I am from Germany
and i am thinking about to Install a JRSC in My Prelude SH. I collected a lot of Informations about Supercharger systems but nothing about long term experience.
I would like to drive the Charger at 6 PSI Standard setting because I dont want to Change ECU and Engine Internals.
So here are some Questions
1. How many Miles and at wich boost did you drove your car with a supercharger ?
2. Are there any things to check/ or replace in Maintanance Intervals, like belts?
3. My Car has run now 56000 miles at Stock trim. Do I have to be affraid that I blew my Engine up much Earlyer than Normal? Jackson says "no" but can I trust?
many thanks in advance and may the Force be with you

I'm currently running 6 psi. I ran 9 psi for over a year. Keep in mind, I'm running large injectors and programmable engine management. The JR fuel/engine management has never been installed on my car.
Beyond the regular maintenance your car requires, you should check your belts regularly, and I would recommend changing your oil more frequently than what the owner's manual recommends. You should run copper spark plugs 1 step colder than stock and change them regularly.
Jackson Racing (Moss Motors) says a lot of things. I would recommend doing a compression test on your motor. If that checks out, you should be fine for boost.
Fuel pressure is your fuel delivery on the JR setup. It is important to make sure that the JR FMU is set properly. This requires that you install a fuel pressure gauge.
