Ok to hit the end of axle to snap it in to the tranny?
After trying for a while with just my hand, I softly banged the axle's end it with a soft hammer. It went in easy. I know i'm not suppose to pull on the axle cuz it might come apart but is it ok compress it or hit it with a hammer?

well if you used a mallet hammer like what you said, yes it will be ok as long as you didn't damage the end part of the axle. that's what I sometimes have to do to make the axle slide in properly. nothing to worry about.

is it normal for the inner cv to be a bit compressable? On my axle, the inner cv is not a solid piece like I thought and that it has a little play.

yes it's normal to be a little bit compressed. also what do you mean by "little play?"
