Default nitrous for the summer?

whats up everyone..i have been thinking about puttin my teg on the bottle just for the summer. ive desided i really would only want a wet system with a 50 shot so i stopped down at an "import shop" and this guy tells me that even with the wet systems you inject it into the intake tube! i was like WTF i thought that was a dry system and i told him i have an AEM rail that has an extra port for nitrous and he tells me he doesn know much about aem rails. i was like you are tryin to tell me about nitrous and you dont even know how a fuel rail works? anyway can anyone tell me if i can hook up a wet system into my aem rail(1/8 port) and are there any kits made specificly for this? thanks alot for the help in advance

The extra port is to feed fuel to the fuel solenoid. It is still injected through the intake to the throttle body but with fuel and nitrous at the same time to prevent detonation. There is another setup called direct port and it is where you drill holes in your intake manifold and the fuel sprays directly from there. I had a nitrous kit before and personally did not like it. go turbo man. You'll be much happier. Refills cost crap loads and the power aren't consistent due to botte pressure.

Wet system inject both fuel and nitrous at the same time. Dry systems only add nitrous and you'll have to make up for that by upping the fuel pressure or some other way.

You can't connect the nitrous to your fuel rail, it has to be injected somewhere into the intake tract. ie- intake tube, intake manifold runner, or even at the base of the injector with that new NOSsle system.

Having a good mixture or atomazation of fuel and nitrous is ideal, but they can't get mixed before they are injected into the motor. Make any sense?
