Default Does sedan exhaust fit the coupe exhaust? 98-02

Hey I own a 1998 honda accord 2dr coupe exv6 and it has dual mufflers. I know a person selling a 5zigen fireball axleback exhaust but its comming off of his 2001 exv6 4dr sedan and I was wondering if it will fit my coupe?

Yeah it'll be a little long but if you're getting a good deal, I'd take it.

Ahh ok, well he's selling it for $50 and it costs about $30 to ship from CA to here in FL. I was wanting to install it myself but now you say I will have to go to a muffler shop? What exactly they going to do? Cut a piece out then weld it back together? Now im debating whether to get it or not

That's a pretty good price though. Its gonna be loud too. Just something else to consider.

Well its really expensive for any exhaust for my car since I got dual canisters. I just called a muffler shop and they quoted me $15 to cut and weld it back together.

This exhaust brandnew is $569.50 from http://www.autocarparts.com, and then +$30 for shipping.

So all together $50 + $30 + $15 isnt a bad deal at all for used axlebacks. I wasnt even in the mood to get some but for the price I Just had to pick it up.

they'll have to cut the pipe after the cat and weld it up. I wouldn't rely on an over-the-phone quote, i did that and then when the day came to get my work done it was a lot more than what I was originally told. Usually places charge $15 a weld at the most. I'd expect to pay $50 just to be safe, and then if it costs less than that (it probably will) you walk away happy with money leftover, instead of pissed off because you didn't bring enough cash

btw - like someone else said, i think the 5zigen is a pretty loud exhaust. To make things sound better, because they'll be cutting the pipe anyways, you might want to go ahead and fork out the cash for a resonator if the 5zigen doesn't have one already. It should quiet it down a little, but more so it will help it sound a lot smoother instead of loud & raspy
