My wife and i race an 88crx with a b16 in it. In Dec we had to remove the front Koni shocks because of leakage. We were in a rush so i just orderd a set from Tire Rack.
I am told that they have a life time warranty for the origonial owner which we are but with out a sales recept we can not prove it so i guess we are sol now.. So learn from our mistake and keep your recepts for your shocks.. Now we have 8 cars between my wife and i and 6 of them have Koni shocks... So we have 6 sets of high $$ shocks with out a receipt one.. ( all were lost in a fire a few years ago)...

The lifetime warranty is to the original purchaser of the shocks.

You can either do a replace in advance – we would charge you ½ of list up front, send you new shocks, you send in old, once approved through warranty you would then be credited the original charge.



2nd option is you send in old, it is evaluated, once approved new shock is sent out to you.

They are not waranteed if you raced on them.

 

Somehow I doubt they guarantee them for race use.

EDIT: Doh .. beaten tro the punch. They are rebuildable though.
