i love my tokico illumina's.... theyre perfect for any situation...stock but aggressive ride you set it to 3....if you want to auto X or drag...set all shocks on 5 w/ just a click of a screwdriver. No SKILLS INVOVLED AT ALL!!!
The last time I checked, Maserati, Lamborghini, BMW, and lotus all use koni shocks for their factory setups... and these are all sports cars made specifically for sports driving.
I've installed numerous sets of Koni shock/struts and have had 0 problems with fitment, ride quality, and longevity under harsh(lowered) conditions. I've heard all too many times about a tokico shock giving up after only 3-6 months of regular use on a lowered vehicle. If the koni's under extreme conditions can outlast their competitors under normal driving conditions then the victor is obvious. Do some research though.. you'll find alot of unhappy Tokico owners in alot of web boards, that's what influenced my not to carry the line.
The KYB AGX and GR-2 are also good aftermarket strut/shocks at very reasonable prices. good luck
